The National Cherry Festival Airshow continues to be one of my favorite venues! Traverse City, Michigan and the 4th of July just seem to go hand in hand. Add in the great job done by Bob Buttleman in producing this show, and it simply doesn’t get much better. This year the weather was perfect and the attendance excellent. I brought CAVU, “the flying dog” along and he had a great time too. You can see CAVU and me getting ready to depart Traverse City in my ATP Extra 300L in the photo. The photo was taken by Kevin Copeland who was a big help all weekend. I want to extend a personal thanks to Aaron Cook for his attention to detail and incredible planning! Can’t wait to see all of you again next year!
